Dillon Business License
Any person that engages in or carries on a business within the Town limits of the Town of Dillon must obtain a Town of Dillon business license with the Town Clerk’s office.
Sales Tax Info
All businesses that sell retail merchandise or provide taxable services are required to obtain a State of Colorado sales tax license and a Town of Dillon business license.
Liquor License Info
Liquor Licensing is administered by the Town Clerk's office and involves everything from accepting liquor license applications to processing those applications and holding administrative hearings.
The liquor laws of the State of Colorado restrict the sale and dispensing of alcoholic beverages. Any person intending to manufacture, sell, or deal in beer, wine or spirituous liquor in the State of Colorado must apply for a liquor license.
Applications are available at the Town Clerk's Office. Please call our office at (970) 262-3406 for applications or any questions. Since there are numerous forms to fill out and steps to follow, it is recommended that you set up a meeting to review the comprehensive application packet to assure a smooth application process.
Utility Billing
The Town of Dillon provides water and sewer services for properties located within the town limits and outside of the town limits by special arrangements. The Town of Dillon does not provide gas, electric, phone, trash or cable services.
Water and sewer charges are billed on a monthly basis. Payments are due the third Friday of each month. Cash and checks made payable to the Town of Dillon are accepted.
Lodging Tax Info
All businesses providing short-term lodging (less than 30 consecutive days) in the Town of Dillon must collect the sales tax and lodging tax.
