In 2014, the Dillon Cemetery Advisory Committee began the cemetery master plan project. This project entailed both short-term and long-term planning for the cemetery, including additional gravesites, new roadways, public utilities, public facilities, public parking and additional burial options. This plan was the culmination of a year’s effort by the Dillon Cemetery Advisory Committee and project consultants CPRA Studio, LLC.

In October, 2015 the Dillon Town Council approved the final plan and design concept for the Dillon Cemetery Master Plan project. This Plan is designed to serve as guidelines for future cemetery planning and improvements; and will be utilized to prioritize projects, development, designing and planning projects for the cemetery.
